How we arrived here

A London studio born from observation — watching commuters, remote workers, and neighbours carry the weight of long still hours.

2019

A question on Praed Street

Our founder noticed colleagues leaving the office with stiff gaits and tight shoulders. Conversations over tea revealed a shared frustration: fitness apps demanded time and energy that desk schedules rarely allowed. The idea formed — what if movement could be woven into the day rather than bolted on afterwards?

2021

First pilot circles

Small groups met in a borrowed room above a bookshop near Paddington. Sessions lasted twenty minutes. Participants brought their own chairs. Feedback was consistent: the gentleness made consistency possible. Nobody felt judged for arriving tired.

2023

Studio at number 155

We settled at 155 Praed St — a modest space with warm light and room for both seated and standing practice. Programmes expanded to include remote guidance for hybrid teams spread across the United Kingdom.

Today

Stillness as starting point

We remain focused on sedentary routines. Not because sitting is wrong, but because it is real. Our work meets people where they already are — at desks, on sofas, between video calls — and offers pathways toward greater ease without demanding a different life first.

Our principles

Patience over pressure

We never rush participants. Progress follows consistency, not intensity — particularly for those balancing demanding desk roles.

Honest scope

We are clear about what our programmes offer: educational movement guidance, not clinical treatment or guaranteed outcomes.

Rooted in place

From Tyburnia to remote kitchens across Britain, we design for real rooms, real chairs, and real working hours.

A note on wellbeing claims We describe experiences participants commonly report, such as feeling less stiff after sessions. We do not claim to treat, cure, or prevent any condition. Our work sits alongside — not instead of — appropriate medical care.

Curious about joining?

We welcome enquiries from individuals and organisations exploring movement support for seated teams.
